Yes. The Gaffa runs the full FDM Foreman, including dispatch, on FDM Foreman OS. The difference is that we supply the hardware and set it all up for you.
Yes. The Gaffa needs an internet connection to check its licence and receive updates. If your connection drops, it keeps running for up to 14 days. Fully offline farms aren't supported.
The Gaffa asks you to choose your own password the first time you log in, so no two boxes share the same password.
You can renew updates for £24/year. If you don't, The Gaffa keeps running the version you have.
Not at launch. The first run of The Gaffa ships with FDM Foreman OS only. Smart home features are planned for a later update.
The Gaffa has a 12-month warranty. Email support@fdmforeman.com and we'll repair or replace it.
